This is the English Pea patch. We planted this very early in the year. It was a trial to see if the kids would help or even eat the fresh peas. It was a success. So we expanded out efforts.

Since this picture was taken we have planted 4 additional rows of peas. Hopefully, this will be enough to freeze some as well. Posted by Picasa

Pretty cool. I really like your garden. I remember the "fun times" I had in mom and dad's garden. Your garden isn't as overwhelming as mom and dad's was. I like the square idea that keeps the weeding down and allows the vegetables to grow better. I'm glad your kids are into it too. Good luck with you garden this summer. I will enjoy checking your blog.
